We’re Really Cool, or; How I Learned to Love the Atomic Bomb (a post by Lee)

I’m just going to lay it all out there:
Mar and I play World of Warcraft, and I thought we’d show off our characters.

Sleepy time.

Sleepy time.

Mar’s toon is the one with the sword and helmet, and mine has cool ears. Every time we sign off (known in the WoW colloquial as “logging”), we try to make our characters spoon. That way they don’t feel deserted by us. We’re caring.

You’ll also note to the left of the screenshot is a program which allows us to talk, using our actual voices, to other gamers in our realm. The advantage of this is obvious, when you take into consideration that the majority of WoW players are male. Many of them are still learning what girls are. Thus, having a lady voice can get you all sorts of free goodies (also known as “loot”). Clearly, this is another venue through which I am hoping to acquire a boyfriend. I’ll keep you posted on any developments in this arena.
